Styled Looks | Mother's Day

Happy Wednesday! Mother's Day is coming up fast.  Have you thought about what you are going to wear this weekend?  This week I put together two outfit ideas to get you ready.  All the styles shown can be found on our website.
As a mom I find myself either wanting to dress up with an actual dress or a nice pant outfit.  So that's exactly what I did with these looks!  I kept these looks pretty simple with color & pattern as I know it can be hard to think about putting together an entire outfit some mornings (especially with kids).
Outfit 1: Navy Dress
I absolutely love this dress! It is trendy yet classic.  The detail of the cut out halter at the top of the dress and the bow tie in the back make it unique!  It is made out of silk /polyester and is fully lined.  It doesn't have a lot of stretch, but is flattering on most body types as it's an a-line style dress (narrower at the waist than wider at the hips). I styled it with a denim shirt because I like the idea of keeping this look simple.  The denim top is really soft (chambray material) and I buttoned it up 3/4 sleeve length.  If it's chilly outside you have something to layer with.  I kept the accessories in the neutral tones, but still trendy.  This long pendant necklace is one of my favorites on our website, I seriously pair it with everything!  A clover shape style with lines and has a faux leather tassel at the end.  The gold & brown compliment the navy dress.  I wanted to style this look with a fun handbag so I picked this soft pink chain & laser cut out clutch (it has a black/white stripe print on the inside).  To finish the look, I went with these comfortable beige fringe booties.

Shop this look:
Navy Chic Dress
Threads Up Shirt
Tassel & Gold Necklace
Fast Chance Purse
Treble Bootie
The model is wearing Size Small in the Dress & Denim Shirt.  She is a size 4/6, 5'6" Height. If you want to be able to button and layer with the Shirt, I would size up.
Outfit 2: Pink Kimono
Kimono's have been a huge trend this Spring, they've been selling out in the store!  I love this particular style because it's super light weight, colorful, and flattering.  When it starts to heat up (soon please) if you are going to layer with anything, this is the way to go.  Pink is a fun color to go with neutrals (like black).  This kimono is going to look great on most body shapes.  It is flowy and open (which I love).  I styled it with a fun print tank and necklace.  The tank is a polyester/knit.  It doesn't have a lot of stretch so I would size up. It has a key hole detail on the back too.  The necklace is a trendy wood/bead tassel in pink/grey.  It definitely pops off the pattern tank and matches the kimono nice. I finished the look with comfortable ponte black pants (I realize you can't really see them but you get the idea).  These black cut out style booties are really comfortable & on trend for Spring.
Pink Breeze Kimono
Roxanne Tank
Sprinkles of Pink Necklace
Dusk 'til Dawn Ponte Pant
Isosceles Bootie
The model is wearing Size Small in Kimono, Medium in Tank & Pants.
She is a size 4/6, Height 5'6''
